With a focus on doing what’s best and right for the project, we seek to provide a place where our tenants and residents will thrive. Our product types include retail, mixed-use, multifamily, healthcare and office.

Our goal is to find opportunities that allow us to add value through our experience with entitlement, design, construction and demanding timelines. We are very hands-on with our projects and like to search for ways to make every development the best and most effective it can be.

History

Deacon Development began in 2001 when Steve Deacon and Pete Snook began work on their first project, Corvallis Station, a mixed-use development in Corvallis, Oregon. The project faced many challenges and was nearly the first and last project developed by the new company. But, Deacon Development persevered through the challenges and appeals to complete and deliver a successful project.

Steve Deacon founded Deacon Construction in 1981. While Deacon Development and Deacon Construction are separate companies, there is excellent synergy and shared experience between the two. This established history helps Deacon Development tackle even the most challenging projects with confidence.
